Today was our Annual General Meeting, which was very successful and resulted in us now having a committee of nine ladies. Eight are continuing to serve from 2018/19 and one is brand new. We’d like to welcome Tina on board and look forward to working with her over the coming year.
A huge ‘Thank you’ is offered to Pauline, who has single-handedly made a beautiful poppy wreath on behalf of the group, which will be laid at the Bradley Stoke War Memorial next month. Unfortuately the featured picture, taken on a phone, is a little blurred, but I hope it’s clear enough for you all to see that every poppy has been expertly knitted in a fabulously bright red yarn.
After the serious business of the meeting was concluded, we enjoyed a very tricky, cryptic quiz; all about sweets!
